Perfect book about cts

A new friend recommended "The Nine Emotional Lives of Cats" by
Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson. It is the cutest book. The author did an
actual study on cats' emotions by observing (over some years) the
behavior of, I believe, five cats that he and his wife acquired. He
wanted more but she wouldn';t have it.

It is the best darn book, and so right on target. One of the
'emotions', and the first chapter in the book, is "Narcicissm" (think
I spelled it right).

And it has info on ferals that is exactly what I'm seeing with my mini-
feral colony outside. The little buggers want to be wild, but I hear a
thump outside my bedroom window lately about 6a.m. and its the little
boy jumping up to the window and hitting (and hanging on) the screen,
wanting us to wake up, open the sliding door, give him some milk and
talk to him for a while. And he visits with my Loki thru the screen
door!

But I digress. Do check out this book. It's precious
