The power of purr helps once again. Although Jim could use a little
more time in the hospital for evaluation, the doctor said he could
check out of the hospital and evacuate with the cats and me (but
wearing a catheter). He is to see the doctor again as soon as we can
make arrangements after the storm passes to discuss what might be the
next step.

Thanks to all.

YAY! Now go if you're going to, to beat the traffic. Ike was downgraded to
a Cat. 2 but you never know what will happen with a storm of that size.

Give Jim my best and cut and run for San Antonio. Take care of yourselves
and let us know how you're doing, please. We love and care about you all.

I'm so glad he is out of there and you can leave together. Purrs continuing.
