Purrs and sympathy. It is always so hard, even when you know you're doing
the loving thing.

Joy

The house feels so empty now he's gone. I'm crying again.

I know the hurt you're feeling and the helplessness of me and all of
your friends who love you but really can't do anything that will take
that pain away. I wish I could say you eventually get over it, but that
would be a lie as everyone here who has lost a family member knows. You
*will* however, eventually be able to talk about him without crying.

But for now, go ahead and cry as much as you feel like, tears are
cleansing and they help wash the heartbreak away. Also, talk about him,
your pain, anything you need to express - we'll all be here for you.

He really will live on in our hearts and our memories, as does my Bandit
and my 'Samazon'.

I'm so sorry. You worked so hard to build up his trust in you and you
succeeded, and then he became a wonderful companion. You had far too
little time with him. But I'm glad he got to experience safety, comfort,
and a sweet, loving bond with a nice human.

I am so sorry for you loss and feel for you
Still remember vividly the same feeling I had
after a long walk back to my empty home
from the vet a year ago.
Go ahead and cry to let out your emotion.
I know Rusty would welcome Shadow to the Bridge.

I'm sorry to hear the sad news - my condolences. That was less than a
year, wasn't it?

I am so sorry, Adrian. It's never the easiest thing to do, but it is
the bravest and most loving.

Blessed be,
Elizabeth

I'm so sorry Adrian. It seems like you'd just gotten him, and I didn't
know that he wasn't well.

He was diagnosed with a failing liver a few months ago. He seemed to be
doing well with steroids until he stopped eating, he the went rapidly
downhill. Steroid and antibiotic injections didn't help. :-(
