"Marina" had some very interesting things
to say about ! Hey that's mine!: A former co-worker of mine had a cat who only ate red flowers. She could have any other colour flowers in a vase, but if she brought in red ones, the cat ate them. It didn't matter what kind of flowers they were. Avery [my ringneck dove, for those who don't know] was once seen furiously pecking away at the one red button on a remote control. He gets a fruit-flavored birdie snack as a treat that has red, orange, yellow, and green pieces. I listed the colors in the order in which he eats them. :-) -- "Don't mess with major appliances unless you know what you are doing (or unless your life insurance policy is up-to-date)." - John, RCFL |

He won't drink from a bowl with a white camellia, but I have no idea whether it's because of the color or whether the flowers from different bushes make the water taste different. ------ Krista |

"jmcquown" had some very interesting things
to say about ! Hey that's mine!: I'm pretty sure Persia can *read*, too She knows enough to select and scoot a can of Fancy Feast off the shelf, right next to the chopped green chili's which are in the same size can. I think Felix can. He's consistent about choices of canned food flavors [and his four choice come in cans that are identical except for label color and the text identifying the flavor], and has been known to request specific videos. He also seems to be able to tell time. :-) -- "Don't mess with major appliances unless you know what you are doing (or unless your life insurance policy is up-to-date)." - John, RCFL |
