He had passed away. The vet said he had Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy. In other words, he had an undiagnosed heart disease, and
apparently had a heart attack and died.
We are, to say the least, in shock.

Oh my god. How incredibly shocking. It must be hard to believe that he's gone.
I had a cat go in half a day. I walked around in a daze for two weeks. I just
could not believe it. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Take care.

Dick, my sympathies are with you. It's always a shock to lose one of
our furry pals. I hope that with the passage of time your hearts will
heal.

Last night, when I went to bed, Shroder was fine. This morning he was in
the closet, where he never goes. He came out and laid around all day. We
took him to the vet at 2:00 pm, and then the vet called shortly after we
got home. He had passed away. The vet said he had Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy. In other words, he had an undiagnosed heart disease, and

So sorry to hear your news. Our deepest condolences and rumbling purrs
to soothe you are on their way.
