My humans sometimes drive rescue transports, where someone (a "transport
coordinator") has found animals needing to get from some where (usually a
kill shelter) to a foster home or forever home. The coordinator sets up
the trip in legs of 50 to 100 miles each and locates volunteers to drive
each leg.

If two kitties of your clowder have to relocated until your new house is
built, one of these transport coordinators might be able to arrange a
transport. If you can find a volunteer to take care of the two until you
can have them with you again, it might well be possible to make
arrangements to get them transported.

I can put you in touch with the coordinators my humans have driven for,
or if you'd like my humans could contact the coordinators for you. We
would need to know the destination first, though.

Meanwhile I sent an email to someone else who has a list of emergency

Yeah, I would have to agree. Several months in to this is a hell of a
time to start complaining the number of cats.

Yes, and the insurance company arranged this to begin with. THEIR
error if there is a problem.

Hi this is Gramby and my puter is up and running again for now. I can take
two of them and three if necessary. The cats know me and I could keep them
separate from my three enough until we see if they will like each other.

Suddenly they are concerned about their carpets. These guys have all manner
of scratchers and their nails are trimmed. They vacuum extra and clean
everything on a daily basis. Even have cloths under the cages to prevent
accidents. Some old broad just got her panties in a bunch over something.

Purring all goes well for them.

Thank you SO MUCH for doing this - exactly how far could they be
transported? We have one offer that is really danged far. I STILL
THINK their insurance agent needs to get in gear and either get them
an exception, where they can stay, or find them another place to stay
RIGHT now. And he better start doing that tomorrow. I would be glad to
call him! Isn't there a written agreement bgetween the insurance co
(paying the bill) and the apts?

Am 2 and a half to 3 hours away but they would come here just to visit and
share a bottle of wine if they can stay overnight. Hey, they are family,
the cats too, whatcha gonna do when they need help.

Yes, Bless your heart Granby. and I agree with Julie on this one. Totally.
And after what, 4 months of living there, why all of a sudden do they want
them to move?
What reason did they give them?
These wonderful people have been through hell, and now this. It's sick and
wrong, and I also agree with the idea someone posted about a special
interest story in the paper and maybe even a TV spot on the local news.
This just isn't right.
Purrs and prayers lovingly sent for this all to work out. Don't panic.
NOPE...it will all work out.
((((((((Lee and Robert))))))
Love,
Kyla
