Say, friend and fellow slave.....don't you know cat-gifts to their loved
hoomins when you see such? It's been many years since we used to let our
furry masters go outside, but when we did, and also lived next door to
relatives with free-running-in-and-out (cat-door) cat masters, would find
the frequent gift on doormat of purloined chicken pieces or ribs from
neighbors' BBQ grills (!) plus the now and then small rodent gift. I worked
graveyard shift in those days and early a.m. upon returning home, there
would be the loving offering from either ours or relatives' cats waiting on
our doormat! We lived in an elevated level apt. and thank God our neighbors
never saw their partly BBQ'd meat at our doorstep...but I always thought, no
matter how gruesome to us, the cats were thinking, "provisions for the loved
ones" with these, their prized "prey" of sorts.......I never could come up
with anything else they could have been thinking, as it was obviously not
for their own consumption.

Yesterday I spent over an hour scrubbing, on my hands and knees, the

entire front
porch. That was 2 years' worth of dirt, dog hair, and cat food chunks.

The cats
which usually snooze on the porch all day were a bit upset that they

didn't have
their usual digs for the afternoon. When I was done, they were looking at

me as if
saying, "Hey, it's still wet. What are we supposed to do????"

This morning I went out to feed the furballs and what do I find????? The

guts of
something right by the front door! On my clean porch!!!

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!! Well, the last time they brought something up they ate

everything
but a bit of fur, so I figured they'd finish this thing up also. I went to

do my
errands and came back home about 2 hours later. What's on the freshly

scrubbed porch
now?????? Animal guts from before AND a dead chipmunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone want to come to SE Ohio and take home some kittens - seven to be

exact?????
