Why is Europe going back to the days of socialism and communism? They don't
have a habit of doing what works best--they like to "socially engineer" and
experiment. Perhaps that is the case here?

Where did you get that from? Do you know anything about Europe at all?
Many countries in Europe have always been socialist such as the
countries in Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, Austria. Other countries
became socialist more recently, like Spain, Portugal, France. And
still other countries such as UK and Germany entitle themselves
capitalist but they are way more socialist than capitalist. Communism
was restricted to the Soviet Union but with the fall of the Berlin
Wall, the Soviet Union and communism are history. I bet you don´t know
the difference between socialism and communism, do you?

I don´t have to think on this one Steve. Despite many attempts, eq was
never allowed to be used extensively in foods meant for humans.

That first sentence is telling! Eq is still used in human foods (in the US),
so what do you mean by "extensively"?

I mean extensively. Many foods are preserved with artificial
antioxidants: butter, cereals, etc. But ethoxyquin was only allowed in
two things: paprika and chilli. Now, how often do you or anyone you
know eat paprika and/or chilli? Do you eat them on a daily basis? If
so, which I doubt it, are those the only things you eat?

They are CARNIVORES which means RAW MEAT EATERS.
They have evolved on raw meat and have been eating raw meat for at
least the last 10 million years, since the first felid appeared. I
have never seen a wild felid (or any other animal besides us) cooking
their food or removing bones from the food to eat it. I have never
heard of a tiger or any other felid breaking into a corn crop or a
rice crop to eat corn or rice. We have been feeding and ARTIFICIAL
diet to our cats for the last two decades and the result of this poor
diet is their poor health. Do you believe in the nonsense you say or
are you just saying anything to sell your 100% balanced CORN?

Liz, how EXACTLY do you explain Phil's (excellent) point that cats on
commercial diets have thrived and live longer lives than their wild
counterparts? Stop your allegations and please provide some common sense and
logic. If what you allege is so bad, then why are you proven wrong on a daily
basis?

Ahem,
Remember this is a *LOW* carb diet.

You´re right. They substituted corn for paper.
