Needless to say, after Emily's death, a new kitten was on the cards ;-)
So, here she is:

http://public.fotki.com/niksimpson/c...700136148.html

She's a Tortie, about 6 months old from the local humane society. She's
settling in well, and Libby obviously wants to play with her, though
she's indicated she's not ready for that just yet :-)

Congratulations on the new owner. She is beautiful and a very lucky kitty.

Aww! She looks like a sweetheart! Is her name Custer?

It's great that Libby wants to play with her. I suspect she'll be happy to
play with Libby, once she realizes she's found her forever home.

She's very pretty! Thank you for adopting her. I hope she continues to
settle in well in her forever home.

No, her name (for the moment is Dusty), I just uploaded her picture to
Custer's album, I need to change the name of the album ;-)

Being a tortie she looks a little "dusty" I'm sure if it's not her
true name she'll be letting you know.

Okay. I thought Custer sounded odd for a girl kitty. I like Dusty, but she
may prefer something else. ;-)

Yes, Dusty was chosen because she does look a bit like a black cat that
has been rolling in tortie dust ;-)
