Default Dear John Biltz - Please Don't Leave

I know I speak for everyone when I ask you to re-consider leaving the
group. I enjoy your delightful stories and want to keep reading them.

Occasionally I have felt like you do over some replies to my stories or
comments but then I have reconsidered and thought, "I am only mad at one
person" not everyone. I well remember some time ago being furious when
some woman told me what a selfish and uncaring person I was and should
never be allowed to have a kitty (she actually emailed me at home). I
composed a vitriolic letter to her then when I had calmed down deleted
it. Why bother!!! If she wanted to think I was selfish and uncaring so
be it. She simply didn't matter.

I enjoy reading the stories in the group and it's fun posting. It's rare
for there to be a real disagreement between members - btw some of the
flames in other groups are a disgrace.

For what it's worth the American military were highly regarded in New
Zealand during World War II and if they hadn't been here I hate to think
what would have happened to us. My two older sisters were training to
be teachers and said that the Americans that were stationed near them
were so polite and nice that all the local boys were jealous, lol.
Perhaps the locals had reason to be jealous because a lot of the girls
married American boys!

I am asking people who would like you to stay to add their names to this
post.

Bev
