Oh, the poor baby! You go, Phil. Bast be with you to get
those lower-than-snakes-stomachs vermin and get her
justice. Hopefully she will not go to RB from this.

The poor thing could not be saved. As per Phil's post in h+b it was in
pain from bone cancer and they believe the declaw was done because the cat
was aggressive (from the pain of the cancer!). The cancer had spread; they
ended the poor creature's suffering.

I just caught the end of this and all I can add is this is so sad
Oh, I'm so sorry ...poor kitty, and bless your poor broken hearts.
I think it's so unfair to have creatures get cancer and have to suffer.
I can't figure God out on this one.

Boy is Phil B. gonna be *mobbed* by a an extremely large clowder of cats
when he gets to RB himself.

Poor old puss, I'm glad there was someone like Phil available to see he
finally had some dignity in the end.

The poor dying kitty was a female and my only comfort is that the last

hoomin she saw was evidently a kind vet or vet tech giving her the
merciful
needle to RB, putting an end to her multiple and horrific pain.
Phil P. has never seemed to me like the kinda dude who frequents hard
rock concerts but there is no doubt in my mind when he arrives at the
RB
the cats he loved/saved will literally *BODYSURF* him across the
Bridge......
thank you again for caring, Phil.

I wanted her last moments to be with someone who cared and
respected her and to allowed her to die with the dignity that she deserved.

Thank you Phil- for being you and being with her- everytime I hear
stories like this I start to wonder if there are any good people
outside of this list,,,,,then recently I remember the people who took
in Tweed's KFC when she went off and took her to a vet who didn't
charge because they'd found her and I have to remind myself not all
people are bad

Lesley

Slave of the Fabulous Furballs

I lnow what you mean.
Bless your kind heart Phil for what you did for the poor kitty.
And Lesley, there ARE a 'few' good people outside here.
Not too many, but a few.
Hug
Kyla
