Two kinds of weather
After two weeks of winter weather: Very cold with rain and snow, today
is a beautiful fall day. TuTum is stretched out in a sunny patch by the front door. Well, we do have to wait for the leaves to fall off the trees now. The gardener cut down my beautiful rose bush and I'll miss it. MLB |

We don't get snow but when the daytime temps quickly drop from 78F to 58F in a day or two, I certainly feel it. Cats notice, too. Persia follows the sunny patches around the house, as the seasons change. It's a shame about your rose bush. Why did the gardener cut it down? Was there something wrong with it? I'm not a gardener but I love rose bushes. My mother grew some beautiful roses when I was a teenager. Jill |

They also have a slight trim in the spring to eliminate any frozen tips. Mu front garden is small -- about 49 inches and the lengthj of the fence in fromt and side of the house. Thisn rose had many blooms as big as sauxcers a creamy white with salmon colored tips , The gardeners would rasther work when it isn't raining or snowing (of course) so, it's good bye rosie on a good day. It is down in the 30s at night now. "If winter comes -- etc." Best wishjes. MLB |
