The cats are trying to kill the fish!
No, not the new fish in the pond, the fish in our 110 gallon aquarium.
This is the second night this week someone has opened the stand during the night, and somehow turned off the filter. In the morning all the fish were gasping at the surface, trying to get oxygen. I need to figure out a way to cat-proof the doors of the stand so the cats can't get into it. I guess they figure that if the fish die, they'll get to eat the carcasses! -- Victor M. What type of doors are they, sliding or swing type? I have a couple of swing type doors my cats love to get into, so I put baby locks on them. They haven't firgued them out yet! If they are sliding, just put a dowel in the slider and they should't be able to get it open. Good luck! Patti and the Bridgeport NY Clowder |
