Theresa A lot of gamers would be fascinated if it were set in the 1500s with the De Medicis. They were a wild and self interested group of people. I was reading in the April National Geographic, that some of the De Medici graves are being exhumed and the remains (bones really) are being tested for various kinds of poisons and such as there were a lot of mysterious deaths among that family, most of them dismissed as different types of illnesses. Arsenic, IIRC, can be mistaken for at least one or two illnesses, and it wasn't the only poison available to them. It should be interesting to read the results of their testing. Thanks for the ideas, folks. We were going to set the game up around the myth of Pope Joan, but this might be better.... I still remember fondly one of hte best freeforms i ever played. It was "The Muppets, 20 years on". Brilliant, brilliant writing. Kermit & Miss Piggy divorced, Ralph an alcoholic, Fuzz E Bear bipolar..... Waldorf and Statler had set-up the Muppets with the idea it would annoy the stuffin gout of the other one to the point it would make them commit suicide so the other would get the inheritance....I was the mad bomber but I was pretendingto be Janis (who I had murdered) so I could blackmail Doctor Teeth. Sick and twisted, but very very brilliant. Yowie Yowie |
