thinking that "mp3mymp3" was an odd name. However, mymp3.com was
immediately redirected to a site that was, let's just say, Not
Safe For Work. :-O

Just opened the site and downloaded

digitalimagetoolinstaller1.4.exe
mp3mymp3install.exe

No test yet, but the first one I have been looking for a long time.

I just tried it again and it worked fine. So probably the server was
being rebooted or something when I did it before.

I was looking at the legalese that you have to "accept" or "decline",
and it tells you that the installer also installs "RelevantKnowledge
software" on your system. Not sure I'm happy with that. But I would
really like to try this, so I'll check it out at home. I don't want to
risk compromising my work computer.

Right, but it was going to install something on my computer. So it
wouldn't help if I gave a false name or temporary email address - there
would still be software running on *my* computer called "Relevant
Knowledge", and I don't want anything gathering data from my computer.

Of course, I could do a scan for adware/spyware after I install it,
and get rid of the knowledge-gathering s/w.

Always a good idea. My Spyware Doctor scans once a day, and Spybot-SD
alerts me whenever something tries to install itself so I can accept or
reject it.
