The Jellicle Ball is still more than two months away (I believe it's
October 29th this year), but I'd like to start kitties thinking about
possible locations for this year's event. Where do you kitties think
might be appropriate this year?

Let me think about it and get back to you, Amelia.
it's 1:30 pm here and going up to 90 degrees today and both Mom and Dad
don't feel good in the heat.

That's too warm! I'm glad it cooled down here - it has been in the 70s
this week. We stay pretty cool with the air conditioner but the humans
get pretty cranky when they have to go outside.

How about Qat Island? Big Mama, [the Black Panther, who runs the Island],
has a spooky forest there
and also other accommodations, wonderful food, lovely water, perfect
weather, poofy clouds, places to sleep, anything we would want.
The Qats there are in our Kaboodle, and Tygur and Mayzy came from there as
well.
Mosey is our adoptive DadQat, and when he and Meowy got winked she got
weeTygur and wee Mayzy
from Qat island,
Meowy, wee Tygur and wee Mayzy are visiting there for awhile
It is a magical place that we can make it into whatever we want .
How does that sound?
We spoke to Big Mama, and she said it was fine with her IF we had Jellicle
Ball on Qat Island.
Just something to consider.
Thank you for your consideration.

I tink maybe sumplayze spooky, synze it iz so kloze tu Holloween?

If ze catmunity duzn't find any place betterer, I'z would like to offer
mine old summer castle. It's in ze hills overlooking ze Fluss des
Schwarzenkatzen (ze River of Black Cats) where it flows through das Tal
der Katzen (Cat Valley).

Mine late husbandcat moved us to ze castle I live in now many years ago
when we decided zat ze old castle was too drafty. Both castles had been
in ze family for centuries. When we moved out of ze old castle we gave it
to ze katzen living in ze nearby village, along with a bunch of building
materials. Ze villagers refurbished about half of ze old castle, and
turned it into a nice bed and breakfast. Ze old castle is haunted, but ze
ghosts there are nice. Zat is one of ze reasons ze villagers only
refurbished half of ze castle - they left half of it untouched so zat ze
ghosts will continue to feel at home.

Ze castle (Der Schloss der Alten Katzen) haz comfortable rooms large
enough for two cats to big rooms wiz room for lots of cats, has provision
fur Doggs and ozzer aminals, and has a wonderful banquet hall and a
beautiful ballroom.

So if ze Community doesn't find any place else, ze castle is always
available.

We could think about the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, Catifurnia.
My Paw thought it was kind of spooky when he visited there.

There web page is at http://www.winchestermysteryhouse.com.

it's nice an warm an sunny, and it's by da ocean.
