Weird cats...
I'm working from home today (I am SO happy I left Stater Bros), sitting
in the living room plugging away on my Perl code on the laptop - love those wireless connections. Back door is open, Amelia, Tabitha and Cleo are outside sunning themselves while Sammuel R kitten naps beside me. Without warning, Amelia and Tabitha streak through the back door like their tails are on fire. Tabitha screeches to a halt in the kitchen and takes up her favorite perch on top of my spare Sun monitor, but Amelia continues down the hallway and disappears into the bedroom. I poke my head out the back door to see what's going on - nothing notable out there, just Cleo dozing in her usual place by the gate. I went into the bedroom to check on Amelia and found her under the bed on top of the under-bed plastic storage boxes. That's quite a feat, as Amelia is rather "gravitationally gifted" and the space on top of the boxes (one of Sammy's favorite hideouts) is pretty small. She seems ok, purrs up a storm as I pet her. I leave her alone, and a couple of minutes later she comes ambling down the hallway as if nothing had happened. She and Tabitha then both wander back outside. Weird cats...
