Default dying cat?

Hello. My cat seems o be dying of what I think is kidney failure. He
has become very docile, and now likes to spend most of his time under
a tree. He usually comes in at night, but last night he didn't.
checked on him this morning; he's in a crouching position, but non
resposnsive. He is alive, as he does occasionally look around. My
question is; what should I do? Just leave him there to die, or try to
bring him house? Is there something a vet can do at this stage, or is
it too late.

Phone for an emergency vet immediately, he could be saved with proper

Do you love this cat? Like him? Hate to watch living things suffer? Then get
him to a vet.

My question is; what should I do? Just leave him there to die, or try to
bring him house? Is there something a vet can do at this stage, or is it too
late.

It may be too late to save him (or not, only a vet would know) but if he does
have kidney failure, it can be a prolonged and painful death complete with
seizures. The kind thing would be to have him euthanized so that he can go
quickly and peacefully. Please find a vet today. I assume you care for the
cat and he has given you affection and companionship for awhile so please pay
him back with the last gift you can give him. Or, he may not even be
terminally ill if he gets treated soon. Please go to a vet.

Please, please bring him to the vet, ASAP. He may be able to do well for a
while yet, with treatment appropriate for renal (kidney) failure - if that's
what his problem is. If it's not renal failure, then the vet can most
likely determine what the condition actually is, & then outline a possible
treatment plan, weighing the pros & cons. If he's truly at the end of the
line, he can be euthanized, Vs. dying a lingering - & possibly distressing
(seizures, for example) - death.

IOW, we don't know if there's something the vet can do at this stage - the
vet will have to examine him & then let you know. Here's an excellent site
on CRF (chronic rennal failure): http://www.felinecrf.org/

Damn. It just might be. It's another yahoo address posting via Google. I
guess I need to check *all* headers. *Sigh* Still, I suppose it is better to
be taken for a fool then to start seeing trolls everywhere. Especially where
there used to be simply someone we didn't like.

Beats the hell out of allowing the real trolls to use up our lives by
causing us to check all the headers. Or Google every email address, wahhhh
haaaa! :')
