Default update on Jack's swallowed toy

About 15 minutes ago, I stepped away from the Monday Night Football game
(which the Bucs seem determined to give away) for a few moments, and when I
returned there was a small but grotesque puddle in the hall off my living
room. Promiently featured in it was a much-abused segement of multicolored
Cat Charmer fabric. In short, Jack barfed it up, so the crisis is over.

At no point did his eating and drinking vary from his normal pattern, so it
didn't bother his tummy too much. He gave Rizzo a marathon grooming session
earlier this afternoon, which may have prompted the "video return", as it
were. On the rare occasion Jack gets a hairball, it's always Rizzo's fur
that causes it. Rizzo never gets hairballs, interestingly enough.

That's a relief! ) Few things make me worry more than a cat swallowing
something that could become a linear foreign body.
