This is probably US-centric, since I don't know if these shows are
currently on in other countries.

Anyway, I watch them religiously every Sunday. Except yesterday. A
friend invited me to dinner and visit for the evening, and being alone
right now, I needed some social interaction, so I went. And had a
lovely time. But I missed my shows.

Anyone watch them and want to give me a synopsis of what happened?
Would be most appreciative.

Thanks!

Ginger-lyn

I live in Holland and I watch Desperate Housewives religiously every Tuesday
:-)
Greys anatomy is on that same evening, but I don't watch that.

Me too, I love those shows.

Desperate Housewives: Lynette followed Tom to Atlanta and caught him
messing around. When he got home she and the kids had left. Susan found
out from Edie that Edie had burned down Susan's house, but then Edie said
she would deny it - so Susan put on a "wire" to try to get Edie admitting
her crime on tape. Edie did, but then caught on that Susan was taping her.
She ripped open Susan's blouse and then chased her down for the tape. They
got in a tussle and Susan pushed her into a wasp's nest. Edie ended up in
the hospital (great make-up job, BTW, she looked *AWFUL*). Susan tried to
make peace and asked Edie to just tell the cops she saw someone at Susan's
house, but Edie said no and accused Susan of being a cry-baby and always
asking people to help her out. Carlos and Gabriella's maid was successfully
implanted with the embryo and is pregnant with their baby. Gabriella is
concerned that Carlos is being too solicitous of the maid now and the maid
*is* playing up to him. Bree confessed to Susan that her son did not run
away, that she abandoned him (after Bree lost it at her daughter's birthday
party). Her daughter let her boyfriend out of the basement and they ran
away together, when Bree read the note from her daughter she checked herself
into a mental hospital. Felicia has been drawing blood from herself and
freezing it, she planted the blood all over Paul's house and even cut off
two of her fingers to leave in the back of Paul's SUV - then she left town
and went to stay in a remote cabin.

Grey's Anatomy: A bunch of people were shot up in a diner by a disgruntled
ex-employee. McDreamy (Derek) and Meredith are still mad at each other
since McDreamy found out (he thought) she was sleeping with the vet (they
found out that their co-owned dog has cancer). They acted mad at each other
in front of his wife and she then confronted Meredith and then Derek (in
front of the entire hospital - she said she knew he still loved Meredith).
Burke is still mad at Christina for falling asleep during sex, so he picked
Alex over her to go with him to go get a donar heart. The donar ended up
dying before they got there and the other donar heart was going to an old
rival of Burke's. In order to get Denny the heart, Izzy decided to stop his
heart and cause him to be bumped up on the donee's list because of need.
Burke was coming back to assess Denny's status when he was shot by the same
gunman who had come to the hospital looking for the manager who he missed
the first time. There's going to be a two-hour season ended tonight
starting at 8:00PM central.

Yes, thanks, 'Nipped. Would've liked to help Ginger-lyn but don't watch
either one.
Looking forward this Thursday to finale of Will & Grace.

Sorry, West Wing was airing its final episode(s) and there was NO WAY I'd
miss that! (Only thing I watch on ABC is "Commander in Chief", and that's
been pre-empted the past two weeks.)

I watched 2 episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent last night.
Never watched the other shows mentioned here.
The season is soon over and there won't be much to watch
except reruns on TV.

If you have broadband, you can download BitComet (google for it) and
then you can do searches on the list of avaiable sites (I like IsoHunt).
Then you can download episodes. Usually 350mb per episode, takes a few
hours, have it do it overnight. I burn them to a CD-RW and watch it on
my TV. This is how I've been catching up on shows I missed during our
big move. It takes about a week after the episode airs until they are
available for download.
