But, I know that had a cat tree in her previous home, and when the sun is shining through the window, she may decide she wants to look out the window, from the cat tree. I hope so anyways. I have a window with a cat shelf I built in front of it, but it's in the living room, and Lorelei is still scared of the living room. The cat tree is in the dining room, further away from where my computer is, so I think she will warm up to it. That is my plan, anyways. My other plan is to slowly move her food dish until it's on the lower level of the cat tree. Food is a powerful motivator for cats. I just need to take things slowly, and be patient. Thank you all, again, for the cat tree |

the nip spray at walmart is under four dollars and really lasts pretty good,
also seems less messy than regular nip, is there anything else in the living room that from her point of veiw could intimidate? the reason i asked before about the ceiling fan was because i read somewhere that some cats freak over them and the research consensus, sp is that some cats think they are winged predators like a hawk falcon or similar, soft ingold1234[at]yahoo[dot]com (Gandalf) wrote in message ... But if I'm in the living room, either my computer is on, or the TV is on. I would think that Lorelei should be used to both, from her previous home. I saw a laptop computer there, and my monitor is 15", which isn't much bigger than most lap tops. And every home has a TV set. I think Lorelei is just still scared from the move, and just feels safe in my bedroom, for now. ingold1234[at]yahoo[dot]com (Gandalf) wrote in message ... Did you see her in the livingroom at her former home? Maybe she was trained
not to go it it. ingold1234[at]yahoo[dot]com (Gandalf) wrote in message ...
