OT Johnny Ramone

I know there are some rockers on this newsgroup, so I'm passing on
what I just heard on the radio: Johnny Ramone has just died (of
prostate cancer). It is really hard for me to take in-- Joey, Dee Dee
and Johnny are all gone.

Oh my. That really brings back memories...I didn't even know Joey and Dee Dee
were gone. I loved their music just for the simple, mindless headbanging aspect

I met the Ramones once, back in 1980. I was managing editor of a
local music publication, and got to do a backstage interview with
them, which was a trip to say the least. So hard to believe three of
them are gone now.
