Default Purrs for friends of mine, who lost their cat suddenly

Purrs, please, for my friends Marna and Robert. Their cat Spirit,
who was 15, went unexpectedly and rather quickly to the Rainbow
Bridge on Wednesday night. Robert came home from work about
11:30pm, went to bed, Spirit got scritchies and lovins, then
asked to climb under the covers, as usual. About half an hour
later, Robert and Marna were both woken by a big "thump", which
was Spirit falling off the bed. By the time they got out of bed,
she was gone. The vet thinks it was an aneurysm most likely, and
she didn't suffer at all. Their hearts are very sad. Spirit was
15, and generally in good health, and had just been to the vet 6
days before for her checkup.

Thanks for all the real & virtual purrs we can muster.

Lots of purrs for, Marna and Robert. I'm glad Spirit didn't suffer.

That brought back painful memories of waking up to Nikki having a fit on
the floor by my bed. I'm so sorry for your friends' loss. It's
devastating when it's so sudden. Purrs for their broken hearts.
