"Laku" is an abbreviation of "lakritsa", which is licorice in Finnish.

This has nothing to do with age. I refuse to confine myself to doing
stuff that someone sees appropriate for my age! I play lots of
computer games, many of which could be described as kids' games, but
they amuse me so I play. The reason why I don't like meowchat all
that much is because English is not my first language, not my second
either, so sometimes it gets confusing what is meant, when the same
original word isn't always meow-spelled the same way. It is just a
like/not like situation. But then I don't start verbally bashing
everyone on this newsgroup for using it, I just said I'm not
comfortable using it, and will go on lurking here.

You're not comfortable with...that says a lot.

And anyway, since when is being childish a bad thing, especially when
it doesn't hurt anyone???

Well...there's young-at-heart...and there's CHILDISH.

Keep it up, and I'll teleport over and poop in your shoes...

Give it up guys, this person does have a sense of humor and, hopefully
could add some interest to the group if he would just start posting for
his big boy cat and not himself.

Yes, a childish person sees people who enjoy something that he doesn't
like and he mocks them for it. Then he thinks of excuses to come back
and make fun of them. Then he tells them that THEY are being childish
when they tell him that he is being a jerk. Then he says that he is
leaving. But he never leaves. And he never quite shuts up. And then he
repeats how silly he finds their behavior.

Did you think even one person was going to say "Oh, how COULD I have
been behaving this way; you are so right you mature person, you." You
could at least think of something DIFFERENT stupid to say if you are
going to keep on talking here.

Trust me on this, she can help. Since my heart attack, she has helped me
and even allows for my necessary splurges once in awhile.

Good Lord, it is a wonder you even look at meowchat, let alone figure any
of it out. I really admire people who know different languages. I, who
was thrown out of French class by Mrs. Bossarte because I couldn't make
the right sounds no matter how hard I tried. She said is was my southern
Illinois and Kentucky "mess" coming through.

Well, actually DH speaks Arabic, French, Italian and a stumbling
English, so Finnish is his 5th language. Just like French is my 5th too,
but I'm more fluent in that tho. (I've still got Russian and Italian on
my pallette after that one... )

Maybe she'll be weird and let the snack -- err -- *rats* talk a little
too.

Mommy says she wants a latte, so this is it for now. Thanks efurryone
