ROFL! I must say, though, at some point while reading this post I
looked up at my DH and said "why would you even *try* to play
ping-pong with a kitten around?" He didn't know either. :-P

Well, it's either do things with Sammy "helping" or don't do anything at
all, in which case Sammy will gladly nibble at your toes until you get up
and play with her!! ;

In her defense, though, I must say that she certainly has made our lives
more, ahem, interesting - and she helps keep us in shape by running us
ragged!!!

Hugs,

Around here, we have boxes of jigsaw puzzles that have never been opened
because we know about cat assistance. Cats help us play AD&D, cards,
Monopoly, Sorry, Yatzee, Dominos, and every other game we can come up
with. Huey helps cross stitch, and is the reason I own about three
cutting tools, and can't find any of them at any given time.

Basically, if you didn't try to work with or around the cats, you
wouldn't do much of anything for fun. Besides, having the cats help is
part of the fun.

Best yet - thanks!

But when did you start playing Table Tennis with a paddle rather than
a bat?

Sammy - 5 ½-month-old female kitten
Mommy - MUCH older female human
Daddy - EXTREMELY old male fart, um, human

Mommy and daddy set up the folding table in the garage in the hopes
of playing a rousing game of ping pong.

A bat??!!! As in a baseball bat??!!! I have a hard enough time hitting
that little ball with a big round paddle - if I swung a bat in our garage I
would probably take out DH's workbench! ;
