Default Jacob and the computer monitor

Last christmas my hubby gave me a LCD monitor, to replace the 17" CRT I
was using. I put the old monitor on the table beside my computer,
intending to use it when I work on other computers. My gray tuxie, Jacob
is fascinated with it. He gets on a chair beside the old monitor, and
stared into it, occasionally patting at the screen and reaching around
the sides to try to get what ever he sees on the monitor. BTW, the
monitor isn't turned on - I wonder what he thinks he sees. Every once in
a while he will lean over to see what I am doing, and then he goes back
to "his" monitor. He also likes to watch TV.

Strange cat!

Probably his own reflection in the front of it. MLB

I wonder why he never noticed it before you got the LCD? Maybe he likes
it better when it's turned off.

Can he see his own reflection in it? Miranda also watches TV. She will
lay on top of the TV (so I'm not allowed to get a flat-screen TV!) and
look over the edge at the TV. This means I have a little grey nose
obscuring the screen. Quite an improvement on many TV shows.
