Default Thalia's birthday

Dear friends,

Last Friday, our beloved Siamese girl Thalia was 17. If you look at pics 6 and 7 at

http://community.webshots.com/script...bumID=75033662.

you might think that she is much younger :^))

The day before her birthday, Thalia spent the day with her vet for checks on her eyes and her blood
pressure. When I went to collect her, the nurse said that she had, by meowing loudly and often
during the day, made sure that everyone in the surgery knew that she objected to being there :^))
Her test results showed that all was well with her :^))
..
Although Thalia has to have meds every day to control her asthma, hyperthyroidism and blood
pressure, she is remarkably fit. She eats well, plays gently for a little while most days with a
cat nip toy, goes for a little walk outside when she decides it's warm enough for her to be outside
(g) and finds time each day for hours of beauty sleep :^)).

When her brother Castor, whom she adored, died seven years ago, Thalia refused to have anything to
do with any of our other cats for about a year. During this period, Abbie, one of our black girls,
often tried to sleep with her. When Thalia was ready to accept another cat's company, it was
Abbie's company she first sought. Now she prefers Hermoine's and Jason's company. She sleeps with
them and when she wakes up gets them to wash her :^))

I think you might know that Peter and I adore our Siamese girl (g) and that we wish for her many
more happy years of life.

With best wishes to you all.

I tried tolook at the pictures but got an error message that said I "do not
appear to be the owner" of the album. Anyway, congratulations to Thalia
(and to you and Peter).
