Default Hi from Stinky

My cat Stinky and I have lurked here awhile, and would just like to
say hello. Stinky is a big B/W cat with a pink nose, and he's
thirteen years young. Favorite things include:

Squeezing himself into shoeboxes;
Rearranging the crumpled-up tissue paper inside the shoebox;
Fluffing up the tissue paper in the showbox;
Sitting on the paper in the shoebox and flattening it;
Grabbing and shredding sheets of tissue paper before they can escape
and do Goodness-knows-what to people;
Walking around the basement, bellowing;
Playing the piano (BONK BONK BONK!);
Chicken (mmmm, chicken!);
Carrots (mmmm, carrots!)
Broccoli (yes, that too)
Cherries (great toys, and they have tails!)
Lying on my back, showing his beautiful white belly;
Hugs, cuddles and kisses;
Launching himself down the stairs (both flights) like a furry missile;
Hunting in the deep shag rug;
Snow and falling leaves-- WOW!
(Screened) open windows. AH, Fresh Air!

Single-mindedness is all very well in cows or baboons; in an animal
claiming to belong to the same species as Shakespeare it is simply disgraceful.

We think he should have a TV show called "Stinky Kingdom."

whoa, that's an active cat for being 13 years old! He should come over to my
house and show Jazz a thing or two about playing. Jazz just sleeps all day.

Stinky is a busy cat, with things to do and people to see, and catnip
mice to kill, and birds to watch through the window. He actually
*has* slowed down a bit, but it's wonderful to see how active he still
is. When I tell people he's 13, I'm really reminding myself a bit,
because I still can't believe it.

Aww, don't call him bunny. It's bad enough when my sister does that. ;o) (He
does twitch his nose a lot.)

Nikki loves shoeboxes, too. Here's a sequence of her and a particularly nice
one: http://tinyurl.com/2tn8k.
