Default Stop, Drop and Roll

Isn't that what we were taught as children if (for some *unfathomable
reason*) our clothing caught on fire? Stop, drop and roll.

In the case of cats, they just do it to be cute. I was walking back
towards the computer, Buffy was walking ahead of me. She must have
thought, "Oh no! Not the computer again!" So she stopped, dropped and
rolled over. Then she stretched out her full length.

Naturally this was an invitation for belly rubs and scritches all over.

This morning she was sleeping next to me with her head towards the foot
of the bed. Just as I was starting to wake up I put my hand down by
her. She wrapped her front paws around my wrist (gently, no claws) and
laid her head on my hand. Awwww!

I can't tell you how thrilled I am that she's so comfortable in her new
home, and with me. It's hard to believe she hasn't even been here a
month yet.

She's a master of enslavement.

She's adorable! what a sweetheart. I'm so glad you decided to adopt her.

I'm thrilled for you too. She let you clip her claws too!
