Default Fez and Rufous are officially adopted!

I was running errands and decided to stop at the humane society and
formalize our adoption of the boys. They were checking in a momma cat with
3 (or 4?) kittens, about 3 weeks old. Somebody dumped them at the pound,
where they would've been euthanized, but the folks at the SPCA go there
twice a week to rescue adoptable animals. *&#$(*&# to the s*ns of b*tches
who abandoned the poor mamma and her kittes. She's a sweetheart, I'm sure
she'll find a great forever home.
But I disgress...
After signing a bunch of documents and payind the adoption fee, Fez and
Rufous are now officially members of our family!
This calls for a celebration. Good thing I bought a big bottle of tequila
at Costco earlier today ;-)

Congratulations on formalizing the adoption. Don't have to say I hope
they'll fit in, as they already consider themselves home.

Major hisspits to those who dump animals. Of course in this case it
could have just been someone who found a mama with kits who didn't
have the resources to care for them, and didn't realize what dumping
them at the pound really meant. At least that's what I hope
happended, as I always try to think the best of people. There's enough
scumbags in the world without automatically assuming some
good-intentioned person, who may not be imformed as to the best course
of action, is one of those scumbags.

Anyway, as I step down from the soapbox, purrs that the mama and her
babies find good loving homes.
