I came home from the grocery store, and let the bitties out while I put
away the groceries.

I held out my treat - a small jar of herring in sour cream sauce, which I
dearly love but rarely buy - and sat down on the couch to enjoy it.

Suddenly, I am surrounded. Little Boy is on the top of the couch behind my
head. I can distinctly hear him licking his chops. Miss Emily is on my lap,
and trying to stick her nose in the jar. The kittens are climbing up the
couch and meowing at me.

I ask the kittens, "What do y'all know about fish? You're too young to
know about fish." They meowed and said that Mommy told them about fish.

I managed to dodge all the attempted fish stealers and finished my snack.
I WOULD have shared but for the onion - at least that's my story (grin).

Mark
