Cat Ghosts, crickets, grasshoppers, etc

I don't say I BELIEVE Pokey's ghost visited me, mainly because I require
both intellect and feeling to say I believe.

But, it sure feels like Pokey visited me a few years ago. It was night, I
was feeling bad, and there on my left there seemed to be ... Pokey.

It 'felt' like him (no, I didn't touch him) - a warmth of feeling - and he
seemed to be giving me love. I could almost - and sorta kinda did - see
him, like maybe his ghost and an almost visible aura.

He was gone very soon.

He had died in the late 60s.

I have only posted for about a week to these cat newsgroups.

But Pokey (Poker Chip, named long before I even knew anyone who played
poker), Sadie BugBane, BabyBoy Lug, and Samantha the TomCat have been
mentioned on rec.gambling.poker, where many people have posted cat articles,
partly because the world's most famous self-confessed poker cheat (4 in the
house plus bunches of strays, raccoons, etc) and I, plus a guy who claims to
be the Virgin Mary's prophet (six, I think) post there, and we all - and a
bunch of others there - sure do love cats.

It does get nasty there in the political and religious squabbles.

But go to google or yahoo and do a newsgroup (rec.gambling.poker) + cat
search.

Item: go to a fishing supplies store and buy some crickets for your puss.
Russ (the cheat) buys a hundred, after I told him how half a dozen keep my
gal and guy busy for hours (I have lots of clutter to hide in, he doesn't)
and at least pokerchimp has brought her cats some crickets.

I also bring in fat grasshoppers.
