For those of you following this sordid saga...

My heart doctor said the only thing that could have caused this much trauma
to my heart (large blood clot in left ventricle and heart muscle on the left
side not functioning thereby allowing clot to grow since it wasn't being
pushed out) would be a rather severe heart attack in the last 2 months.
Just an example of how much pain RSD causes, I had a friggin' heart attack
and didn't even feel it over my constant pain!!

Smokey Darlin', I know what you were talking about now.

Years ago my dad had chest pain and when the doc saw him he said it
couldn't possibly be his heart as he was moving too much...an ECG a
few days later informed the doc he had in fact has a pretty large
heart attack!

....and you have no idea how much I wish you *didn't* know.

Still making offerings and singing songs.

That's the one I knew before the windshield/bug one. Then a country
act (The Judds maybe?) made the windshielf/bug song, and that's what
always runs through my mind...

Thank you Inge, but really, what can you do except keep on keeping on and
realizing that there are others in this world, even young, innocent babies
and children who are far, far worse off and yet still endure?

I know it as a Dire Straits song (or just by Mark Knopfler solo -
can't remember).

Mark Knopfler wrote the song (and did release it solo I believe), but
the country act ahem was Mary Chapin Carpenter (1992), which he sang
on with her, btw grin. I heard her version first, which isn't
surprising considering that Western Colorado was *very* into Western
music.
