Lori went back in the hospital Sunday night with bleeding in her ostomy bag.
Tests today showed more problems with ischemia (no blood flow) to her
intestines.
They used a camera to see inside and saw that a lot was blanched white but
not yet
necrotic. They're hoping for the best but there's about 15 feet of intestine
they are
unable to view. At least there's no infection or perforation so they hope to
be able
to avoid additional surgery.

I'm so sorry to hear this! My prayers are with her, and with you. I know
that having a loved one in the hospital, especially when it's so serious, is
incredibly stressful and exhausting.

I am so sorry to read this, Ben. Lori told me in an email that this was
going to happen, but she said she was trying to fight it. If this is going
to be another long stay, please take the Healing Willow Angel I sent her to
the hospital. I wish I could do more for both of you!!
