Default Boxing Day ferals

Just after noon, and it is around 25 degrees F. Miss Emily and
Butterscotch have paws up on the windowsill, and are looking mournfully
in the window.

I open the door, and Miss Emily wastes no time coming in.

Butterscotch plays coy, and wanders a little way, then stops, then
wanders away as I approach him. And I'm in shorts, t-shirt and sock
feet. I finally speed up a bit, grab him, take him inside and plop him
down in the clawed up old office chair that Dulce Mae used to like. He
settles in gratefully, and takes a nap.

Miss Emily is all curled up in her Lion Grrrl box, munching on some
crunchies.

We spoon out some Fancy Feast for all the cats, and everyone relaxes
into comfortable naps. Even Apache is not harassing Miss Emily.

I'm glad they know where to go when the weather gets difficult.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Yes, I'm glad they know you look after them. You're a good man, Charlie
Brown!
