Hmmm... that might qualify as child abuse in some countries... ;-)

Victor, who knows lots of people love vegemite but still can't
understand why

The trick with vegemite is not to slap it on like you would jelly or

peanut
butter. A *scraping* is all that is required, at least until you can eat

it
straight out the jar :-)

I played a game of Vegemite Poker once with my Aussie ex and his
brothers. The loser of each hand had to eat a tablespoonful of
Vegemite. I provided them with lots of amusement. :P

Yeah, that sound slike a very Aussie thing to do :-)

TimTam Slam: Nibble off one set of hte diagonally opposite corners.

Insert
one corner into Kahlua, Tia Maria, Bailey's or other sweet liquer that

would
go with chocolate. Suck the other corner of the timtam as hard as you

can.
Once you can taste the liquer, the timtamslam is ready to eat :-)

Overseas Aussies pine for vegemite, timtams, cherry ripes, violet

crumbles,
twisties and real beer :-)

Yowie

Or a timtam smoothie - tip the contents of one packet of timtams into
a blender, add vanilla icecream and blend. Add enough milk to make a
smooth-ish texture. A decadent and impossibly rich thing to do.

Another alternate tim tam slam - hot coffee or chocolate.. but you gotta
suck it really quickly and then pop the whole thing into your mouth for a
warm gooey mouthful of chocolate and biscuit! Gotta be fast or it all falls
apart!

Yummm

What is a tim tam???

TimTams are a chocoholic's idea of paradise. Take two chocolate biscuits
(cookies). Slap some chocolate cream in between them. Cover the lot with a
generous amount of chocolate.

Tish (who can only cope with 1 or 2 timtams at a time)

pout I want timtams! (though they do sound a bit rich for me)

Piggybakcing...
Well my local supermarket sells TimTams, Vegemite and something that
masquerades as beer that's from Down Under ;-) And if any Aussie or Kiwi feels
homesick, all they've got to do is go to any bar in London and they'll find it
staffed by Aussies & Kiwis working over here for a while ;-)

Cheers, helen s

Still, it means taking heat for someone else's mistake. I don't think I'd
enjoy that job at all.

Well, you do what you can to pay the bills, and keep the lights on for the
kits.

Sounds like you take all the heat for everyone else in th e company who is
making life miserable for the customer.

Not quite. We all take the heat from the customers for errors done
internally, in a part of the bank we have nothing to do with.

Blessed be,

It's a bummer though when you put on a nice blouse, go into the
bathroom to fix the hair and upon bending and raising your arms,
split the seams in the sleeves.

Yes, that's true. They don't seem to make clothes for athletic women
with muscles. It's even worse here in Thailand where all women are
these rail thin waifs of under 100 lbs with no boobs. I have a hard
enough time finding something that fits across the chest, then it's
usually too tight around the shoulders and arms too. I wear a lot of
tank tops ;-)

Have you tried http://www.title9sports.com ?

They have some cool stuff. Unfortunately, at the moment (okay, for as long as
I can recall), I've had a bit of a larger body type than the clothing is
typically designed for.

I freeze my butt off. It's been rather chilly here in Houston
lately,
and although I'm actually a seamstress, for the past 6 months or

so,
I've been installing marble flooring and just recently began

working
with natural slate also. It's pretty cold running that wet saw
outside in 35 degree temperatures, but it's very gratifying work

at
the end. (Well, aside from the callouses, broken off

fingernails,
and
rather embarrassing arm muscles.)

Arm muscles are not embarrassing. I lift weights every second day

in
order to get as many muscles as possible. Muscles are a "good

thing"!

My female friends in manual wheelchairs have this problems to. A chaired from
college used to armwrestle guys (and win) in the local (not student) bar. She
was also Homecomeing Queen.

Yeah, they have some nice stuff. But ordering clothes online in
Thailand isn't exactly cost effective. That is *if* anyone ships
here, which is rare. It's cheaper for me to buy the fabric and have
my sewing lady make stuff for me. I can get into sports wear and
stretchy shirts, etc., but it's when it's a dressy button up shirt
where the problems come in. Gaping buttons and all that.
At 5' 6" and 130 lbs I'm certainly not fat, but around here I'm a
behemoth! ;-)

Doh! I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Yeah, I had a friend who lived in Singapore. She was a little large but not
huge by any stretch, but apparently most everyone there looks like a stick
figure and she felt very self-conscious about her weight.

Me, I think I was 130 when I was 12 ... and that was probably the last time =)
140 would be a good, muscular weight for me, but I seem to have trouble
getting there. (TMI warning) I just switched from Depo to the pill, though,
and my doctor thinks I'll lose 5-10 pounds just from that.

TMI warning? All I can think of is Three Mile Island. Is this supposed
to be gross-out-men stuff? :-)
