Well right now they're having a major play fight. Bonnie pinned Spirit down but as soon as she walked off- Spirit chased after her. It's lovely to see them together- Bonnie's playing like a kitten (with a kitten) and they're both having a bout of the zoomies right now

I think they're officially friends

It's always lovely when the new one and the established one become
friends. I still get a thrill when I see Pickles and Koala lying
together. Koala has even gotten Pickles to play a little bit too.
That's something she hadn't done for a long time even before Waffles
went to the Bridge.

It's certainly seems that they're enjoying each others company now. It
hasn't taken long either. lovely.

That's what I was thinking. That really is pretty fast for two cats to
become friendly so it does look good.

This morning Dave found them in the bedroom, Bonnie was curled up on the bed with Spirit asleep between her front and back legs, using her as a pillow.. Right now Spirit has got Bonnie pinned down, which looks kinda silly as Bonnie is about 10 times or more bigger than she is! But Bonnie appears to have surrendered

They have obviously both adjusted very nicely.

Just thought I'd update all as I;ve not been around for various reasons.

We now have 2 very happy to play with each other cats- Bonnie's almost the most energetic of the two- we've had to get used to (not we minded) two kittens bouncing off the walls/our heads/the floor etc.

And when they're tired they'll often crash out together.

Spirit is cute (Those of you on FB have seen photos) and very bold-funny the people she was living with didn't give a damn so her and her siblings were just around the house with the result she's not bothered by the telly, the hi-fi, the vacumm cleaner etc. She doesn't even hide when people come round. She was even okay when I took her to the vets for her first check up although she wasn't too keen on the butt thermometer but other than that she was fine (Both in her behaviour and her results)

Currently Bonnie has pinned her down for a wash

The amazing thing is how much Bonnie has changed. After we lost Sarsi- she moped around - at the time we didn't notice apart from the first few days but looking back she maybe wasn't as grooming as much as usual and apart from eating she wasn't being very active. Now she's groomed to perfection, slim and sleek. This may be because she has to compete at meal times again and the amount of exercise she's getting chasing after the "pesty kitten" (as she keeps tryimg to tell us Spirit is) She wasn't fat before but now she's a lean, mean, tuxedo kitten chasing machine!

Great news. They're all so different that it's hard to be sure what
goes on in their heads. But most do seem to like other cats around.
