The Flying Leap

... Little Boy is not a small cat. Little Boy is about two years old, and about the size of Lori's Sammy. Lately, Little Boy has taken to jumping up on the coffee table in front of the couch, then taking a flying leap to land in Senyah's lap, where he stretches out with his hind feet on her lap and his front paws on her shoulders. He then rubs his face against hers, sticks his nose in her ears and plays nose-touch with her, although he manages to stick his nose up a nostril as often as he manages to touch noses. I keep telling Senyah that this means he really loves her, but she says she could do without the invasive ear and nose procedures and the flying leaps (big grin). Fortunately, he is a soft-paw kitty - he doesn't apply claws to people, even by accident (okay, not very often, anyway), so I often walk into the living room to see Senyah with her hands on his back, giving him an occasional stroke. Senyah is still *not quite* a cat person, but we're slowly wearing away at her (big, evil grin). Hugs and Purrs, Mark Yes, it's pretty hard to resist somebody who loves you that much. ;-) Joy |

MUCH naughtier than Dante ever is. He would wreak a path of destruction through the house, then crawl up in my lap, and curl up under my chin, and his whole little body would be churning with purrs. It was just like when you're about to knock your kid into next week, and he gives you the Bambi eyes and says "I WUV YOU MOMMY." I would just melt.
