Prairie gophers. thats one helluva buffet |

Prairie gophers. Speaking of which; a popular activity for colordo rednecks is to play target practice with the prairie rats. Go to an infested field where there's no city ordinance against discharging firearms... When driving cross country in '84, I once let kitty play with some prarie rats. It was the highlight of his trip. I've thought of taking mongo, a loudmouthed siamese *******, to an nearby infested field to play with them, but I'm not sure how I'd ever be able to get him to want to leave. |

When driving cross country in '84, I once let kitty play with some prarie
rats. Yuk, this reminds me of the beginning of the thread where that nimrod Christine or whatever her name was discussed how she was going to kill the mice in her house. Personally, I think prairie dogs are cute and I wouldn't want to see them needlessly killed or taunted or tortured. The best solution is simply not to create a situation where they breed out of control. Call them dogs if you insist, but they're rats. |

Apparently they're quite affectionate little critters. Your colleague isn't the first person to have a pet rat. |
