Default Looking for a vacuum that fits under bed

Looking for an upright vacuum that fits under bed (Not cannister vac
or hose of one). Does the oreck go flat enough??

I have a full sized bed that sits about 6 inches off the floor.
Needless to say that all 4 cats like to sleep and hide under there
which means HAIR CITY under there!!

Does anyone know of or have a vacuum that will go flat enough to go
under it or at least half way under?? Right now if I really want to
clean under it I have to remove mattress and box spring because
bedroom where it is at is no big enough where I can really move the
bed around to clean under it.

Any reasonable suggestions appreciated.

TIA

Low-tech solution: mop or broom, with dustcloth tied around the end if
necessary to increase the area that can pick up cat hairs.

Default Looking for a vacuum that fits under bed

This is my vacuum; I bought it about 2 years ago for 399 australian $$ so it
will be cheaper now. It's very compact, does a great job of getting dust and
cat fur (I'm dust sensitive, so too much cat fur causes sinusitis) but the
BESt thing about this vac is the telescopic wand; I am quite tall and have
to stoop to use most vacs but this one extends so I can use it standing
upright, and it also reaches all the way under the queen bed. It also
telescopes down again, and everything folds up easily and compactly; I can
fit it under my sink. Hope this helps!!

woops sorry. The electrolux site also had some upright vacs that looked like
what you're after. Hang on, I'll have another look. This might be similar to
what you're after; looks to be easy on the back too.

thing about the roomba I like is that it has a remote control so it is a
thing DH has to operate and with the remote you can make it go where you
want, Lee

If you went into a store and asked a guy for an upright vac and he
brought out a mop then a mop with a rag tied around it then a
cannister vac then a Roomba or whatever and seems everything but an
upright what would you say to that salesperson??

But yet I asked about an upright vac and get all these other answers
and people e-mail me about not being satisfied with the suggestions I
get when I asked a simple thing about suggestions for an UPRIGHT
VAC!!! Why is it so hard just to get a simple answer to a question
asked?? If you do not know of an upright that fits what was asked
about just do not reply!! Very simple!!

Hey ****wit!

Here's something even *more* simple: take your attitude and
shove it up your ass. Then get your lazy, dumb ass off of the couch
and go shopping for whatever the **** you want and stop posting here.

Are you brain-dead or just another arrogant twit who presumes
that folks here are your personal servants?

People here have been nice enough to provide answers, and you
have the unmitigated gall to whine like a ****ing two-year-old!

You're a waste of DNA, a moron and a nasty sack of ****.

Now do us all a favor and **** off and die!

How far did you get in school, specially language class!! You are
really showing your intelligence or lack of it!!

well despite the language there is a point there. I won't be answering any
of your posts again, just in case I say the wrong thing and get your
rudeness shoved in my face again. And no mention of the upright vac I did
post about, after apologizing on offensively posting about a barrel vac.
It's a post about a bloody vacuum cleaner, for goodness sake. Don't get your
knickers in such a knot!! If people were flooding your inbox with
innapropriate vacuum/dustmop emails, simply don't post your email. As for
the posts, I posted two, one about a barrel and one about an upright, and
there was one roomba post and one dustmop post. Is it just me, or have you
totally flown off the handle for no reason whatsoever?? Oh, sorry, I should
have taken your nom-de-jour seriously.
