Since I'm in the same part of Oklahoma, I'm butting in with a rant of
my own.

Around here, we're way behind the larger cities in shelters and vet
care.

(snipped aggravation)

Steve, I hate to tell you, but you're waaaay ahead of us here where I
live. There is no shelter here *at all* whether no-kill or not; the
city's animal control will come and kill an animal at your request and
dispose of the body. That's it.

And as much as I like him, we have *one* vet who splits his time
between this little town and another nearby little town, and we didn't
even have him until a few years ago. The closest 24 hour clinic is 2
hours away in another state.

Count your blessings. ;-)

OMG. You're my new best friend.
E-mail me with a plan. My DH is off work Fri. evening, Saturday and Sunday

this
week, and the following weekend too. Let me know.

I got all misty eyed reading this. Those two are just adorable. Now
they've gone from being dumped to having a home. What a great outcome.

Oh and I hope the person that dumped them burns in hell.

Those kittens really are beautiful creatures. I just had to have
another look at the pics. I can already see them stomping around
on those gorgeous big cat paws. Congratulations Pat, you've got
yourself a lovely pair there.
