Default Back from TED

The boys were their usual charmers at TED's. Fez gave TED some trouble
with his shots, she wasted a couple of needles because he wouldn't sit
still. Rufous complained, but was a good camper about the whole thing.
They are officially "large for their age", they're only about 4 months old
and they weigh 5 (Fez) and 5.3 (Rufous) pounds... that's about 2.2 and 2.4
kilograms respectively.
There was a large female rotweiler (sp?) in the waiting room, who was a
total sweatheart and seemed interested in the boys. Fez was fearless, as
usual, and almost touched noses with her. Rufous, being much more
sensible, looked over his brother's shoulder...
Since they got two shots (distemper and rabies), TED said they might be a
bit down today and might not eat much. We'll see about that...

Thanks for all the purrs!

Purrs to Fez and Rufous for being so good at TED.

Its a shame about the reputation Rottweilers have. In my experience, they
are the gentle giants of the doggy world. Even though I love the Fluffster,
she can get terribly overexcited which never happened to the rottweilers
I"ve known, and she also wants to herd everythingand everything. Which means
she seems to chase cats. *I* know she doesn't chase cats out of any
maliciousness and would only lick them to death if she caught them, but
unfortunately most cats don't quite see her in the same light. The rotties I
have known, however, don't care about strange cats, and have always been
very loving and protective towards the cats in "their" family.
