Caliban sometimes washes my face, especially my forehead. Sometimes he
strays into my hairline. But he never deliberately washes my hair. How
helpful of Buster.

Getting your hair licked doesn't hurt like raspy bare skin exfoliation
can, and the swooshy slurpy sounds are oddly relaxing. Maybe I'm just
weird. But Buster is really an odd one. I think he was genetically
engineered by Monty Python as a joke.

Hehe, one of the club. Like Caliban and Dante.

I have trouble figuring out whether Dante is James Cagney, Homer Simpson, a
Lucha Libre wrestler, or all of the Marx Brothers.

Default Hair licking

Abby will lick my hand and then rub her face against it. As if I'm helping
to wash her face.

Every evening Abby will get on the back of the couch and rub her face
against my hair. I don't know if it's my shampoo she smells.

It's mostly Dot who's a licker here, but she likes to lick hands and
faces - bare skin, with her raspy tongue. Buster licks hoomins much
less often than she does, but if he thinks you're asleep, and you look
like you need a grooming, he'll sometimes start washing your hair.
