Hint for Drinkwell Fountain Owners
Maybe you already do this. I've discovered if I take the filter out every
couple of days and use a brush to remove any "gunk" off the filter under running water, the fountain doesn't require cleaning as often. I normally completely disassemble the thing and clean it as well as the motor every Saturday. I looked at it last Saturday after brushing off the filter a couple of times last week. It was still clean. No appearance of gunk on the intake valve/flow control. Today (Wednesday) it still looks clean. Might be able to wait until next Saturday before I do the disassemble thing! Jill -- I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off. |
