Default Xmas is Coming!!!

I am now wondering....why did I put that as the title? Surely everyone is
aware of this by now!!

It is really feeling like Xmas at home now.....I have my bookshelf filled
with cards from all you nice folks here at RPCA and I just put my annual
leave form in for Xmas (we get "concession days"....meaning we get time off
but it doesn't come out of our leave).....2 full weeks off!!!

AND, I have just sent all my Xmas cards out...which I must say was good of
me as I usually leave it till 3 days before. AND I have finished all my Xmas
shopping and am not broke and, for the first time in 3 years, didn;t use my
credit card!!

Now I'll be bored for the next few weeks as opposed to running around the
shops like a mad man.

Festive Purrs to all

I just hung up a piece of string to criss-cross over one bookshelf, and hung
the cards on that. They won't all fit there, though, I'm afraid. Maybe I'll
have to use the other bookshelves, as well. It looks so festive. And I'm
taking 2.5 weks off around Xmas and New Year's - Yay!

But no prezzies yet. Argh, I don't even know what to get everyone. It'll be
books as usual, I guess. If anyone can suggest what to give to my
20-year-old nephew, who is a fantasy and sci-fi buff, is just getting out of
the army (we have National Service in Finland, all young men serve 8-12
months, and women can if they want to), and is a student at the University
of Technology, please tell me! ) He is also a cat person.

If he hasn't got them already, the DVD set of Children of Dune would be
cool. Ok, so its on our Xmas wish list, but we are sci-fi fantasy freaks
too.
