I second that. Take your hatred of people somewhere else.
Sorry, I think I'll stay since I've been "here" for 4 years and have never seen you here before. Candace Arrogance. Another trait of the left-wing. |

itter (MacCandace) wrote in message ... They're cuties: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/dai...ats.guest.html Well, yes, I'll have to grudgingly admit that even fascist Republicans can have cute kitties. Candace (take the litter out before replying by e-mail) See my cats: http://photos.yahoo.com/maccandace Hmmm, It's OK to call Mr. Limbaugh a fascist huh? I suspect you have never listened to his show. He is without doubt one of the funniest guys on radio, and you will certainly get a side of the daily news that you won't hear anywhere else. It's amazing how the liberal left has reacted to his show. They have never been able to prove him to be in factual error so they revert to name calling like facist for instance. My grandpa told me that when you reverted to calling the opponent names you only illustrated you had lost the debate and had no choice but to desperately try to denigrate the person presenting the idea, because you couldn't denigrate the idea itself. Steve, I have listened to his show. The man is rude, insulting, and spews out so many lies it's repugnant. You want some debunking? Here you go: http://www.bestofmaui.com/rush.html http://www.fair.org/media-outlets/limbaugh.html http://www.motherjones.com/mother_jones/MJ95/fair.html Oh, and someone wrote a whole book about his "errors" - http://www.evolvefish.com/fish/product1415.html Those are just a few. Maybe you should spend less time telling Ann Martin to check her statements and spend a little more time checking your own. Karen |

People seem to either love or hate Rush Limbaugh, w/ few in-between. I'm in between. I listen to his show occasionally and I find him mostly entertaining and rarely wrong when it comes to the economy. I'm not a fan of the left or the right, so he's not really an influence on my life. I also like to listen to Neal Boortz just for the sheer logic he seems to be able to elicit. |

Of the sites, however, I don't find them to be terribly convincing. Back to the "negotiation of knowledge" theory, if one looks at the sites one sees a number of statements made by Rush Limbaugh that are taken out of context. Without proper context, any statement can be given a number of possible meanings, whether they be the intended meanings or not. I don't doubt that much of what Mr. Limbaugh says is merely verbal diarrhea but I do think it is important to listen to what he says. Many USA-ians I have met (around the world, as well as in the US) have similar ideas to his. This is unfortunate, but true. How can others offer rational argument without knowing exactly what they are arguing against? Regardless, his cats *were* beautiful! I wasn't going to look at the site, because I had thought it was probably a troll-like link, but I pleasantly surprised to find real cats! I thought he was a dog person, for some reason :-). rona |
