Ok, now I've seen it all. Psycho just made a huge deposit in her
litterbox. She is known for being aromatic hense her nickname "Poo". And
she is also scared of her own shadow. Well before she had a chance to
"cover it up" she got spooked and ran to the other room. After 5 minutes
I couldn't stand the smell and went to cover it for her. I guess my
little cat Mouse had the same idea. I watched her go straight to the
box, jump in, and cover the offending "tootsie rolls". Then she walked
away with what I swear was a large grin on her fuzzy face. Now that's
teamwork!

Nikki is very sloppy in the litterbox, and hardly ever covers up after
herself. Frank is all the more cleanly, and will spend ages digging around
and covering up. He will often go and cover up after Nikki has done her
business., too.

I have one cat that never cover up. He was taught to scratch, so he
scratches on the walls and outside the box but never in litter to cover it
up. The other cats always cover his stuff up for him.
