I find it impossible to believe that anyone who put up with that
cats climbing all over them including on top of their head has it in
them to kick a cat. He even looked uncomfortable it trying to push
it down.

I really liked how he kept turning towards his partner (holding the camera)
to show him the cat hanging off of him, with an expression that said, "See
what I have to put up with?" LOL.

(Or maybe the partner was giving stage directions, saying, "turn toward
me so I can get a shot of the cat hanging off you." That part of the video
was silent, so who knows.)

I saw this same link to the film on another bulletin board.

One of the responders said the film was edited: he saw a version where
at some point the cop kicked the cat

I don't know if this is true; I tend to doubt it. That would be animal
cruelty, and the cop wouu;d be in big trouble.

He knows he on camera, also.

I have seen this version, and it's not so much as a kick as it is a fling
(cat was on or near his ankle and he flung the cat a few feet away with a
kicking like motion, there were no drop-kicks or punting involved), more
than once, too. Didn't deter the cat for it was after that that cop let him
climb on up and get perched on his head. The guy pulled over for the
speeding ticket even offered to help.

Thanks for the link.

Yes, the officer DIDN'T kick the kitten at all. As you said, he sort of
swept his foot, pushing the kitten away.

It is obvious that he's NOT trying to hurt the kitten in any way.

He just wants to write the ticket. LOL!
