SH*T!
Everywhere! I'm not going to survive this! I've had to break down this
huge kennel *FIVE* times today to clean it. The latest cleaning was because the pain medication gave Archer diarrhea and he missed his box (not his fault, with that huge splint on his leg it's hard for him to even get in the litter box). I have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow - I *HAVE* to be back to work and Ben is working too. I will have visions of my poor little boy wallowing in his own feces all day when I'm not there to clean up for him! : At least he doesn't appear to be in pain - you can tell by these pictures and video where you can see him clearly trying to give me a heart attack! http://www.possibleplaces.com/CatNipped/broken2/ -- Hugs, CatNipped See all my masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ |

Go to the store and get some of those big pads that they use for house
breaking dogs and put a little litter on top of it or get an aluminum foil baking sheet and put litter in it. That way it won't be so high for him to get over. You could maybe try a baking tray with a bit of litter scattered on it in such an emergency. The only other alternative I can think of is to book him in to a cattery for the day while you are working and let them care for him while you are gone. Not much help, I know. Tweed |

You could maybe try a baking tray with a bit of litter scattered on it in such an emergency. He can get into his litter box with no problem, it's just that he's having diarrhea and he gets it all over the place (down the sides of the litter box, on the Dennel, on the pan on the bottom of the kennel, on my carpet - and all over himself!!! The only other alternative I can think of is to book him in to a cattery for the day while you are working and let them care for him while you are gone. Not much help, I know. I didn't think about that - but I might just look into boarding him at the vet's called the vet's office YAY! Archer had an appointment for Saturday as a follow-up to his ER visit. I called and explained to the tech what was going on (and told her we were pretty broke after the $300 ER charge). She said they could change the appointment and I could do a "drop off" tomorrow morning "for his follow-up" and there *WON'T* be a boarding fee that way (have I mentioned lately how much I love Dr. French - the one who came to my house for Bandit's last moments). Thank you so much, Tweed, for putting me on to this! Hugs, CatNipped Tweed |

Just a cookie sheet with the edge, the one they usually call a jelly roll pan. About 1/3 inch deep. Pile as much litter on it as you can. I'd also put lots of news paper down on the bottom of the cage. Ozzie seems to be enjoying himself thoroughly. Jo |

YOu could buy one of those plastic boxes like for under the bed and cut the
front down so he can get in easier. Worst you should have then is litter to brush up.
