A Catnip Fact
If there were an AA for cats for nip, my O T would have to join. He just
gets "loaded" on the stuff no matter how much or how little. The other two aren't so interested. "Kyla =^..^=" wrote in message ... Found this on the www. freekibble.com site today Responding to catnip is inherited and about 70% of cats have the "Catnip Gene"... 30% do not respond to catnip. I did not know there was a 'gene' involved. All 'my' kitties love the nip Do yours? Love Kyla |

The cats do strange things. Want to have some fun?? Bought Valerian root for sleeping. Helps somewhat. The capsules in the bottle give off enough smell for the cats. I don't break open the capsules. Just let them sniff the open top. I have broken open a capsule and used just a small amount left on the floor. Dunk a cat toy inside the Valerian bottle, and that's enough to energize the toy. greg |

I would like to try some, and see if my current cat enjoys it. Thank you. --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. You can buy valerian root just about anywhere that sells vitamins and minerals. Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc. It will be with the herbals stuff - it's sold as a sleep aid. It's not very expensive. If you'd like to try some before buying it, send me your mailing address and mail you a few. dan at catfolks dot net. Dan |

It tasted so bad it used to be said that patients got better so they wouldn't have to taste the stuff. Bud |

But apparently the cats don't share that opinion! Joyce -- The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer. -- Paula Poundstone |
